Pennsylvania elections in 2027 and 2028

Philadelphia's mayor and all City Council seats are on the November 2, 2027 ballot, after a spring primary. In 2028 Pennsylvania has a U.S. Senate race (the Class 3 seat now held by Sen. John Fetterman) and, under current law, a late-April presidential primary.

What field programs in Pennsylvania need to know

Pennsylvania has no statewide citizen initiative process, so field programs focus on candidates, voter registration and turnout. In Philadelphia, the primary is usually decisive, which means early voter contact and strong ward-level relationships matter. Philadelphia is one of the largest and most expensive media markets in the country, so doors, mail and digital carry a lot of the persuasion load.
