About London Lamar

  • Before the Senate, Lamar represented Tennessee House District 91 from 2018 to 2022 and was the youngest state representative in office during her tenure. Source
  • The Shelby County Commission appointed her to Senate District 33 in March 2022, and she took office on March 8, 2022. Source
  • Lamar won the August 2026 Democratic primary for Senate District 33 with 76.2 percent of the vote over Tamika L. Abrum, per unofficial results. Source
