Nevada elections in 2027 and 2028

Nevada law sets the presidential primary on the first Tuesday in February for all major parties, which is February 1, 2028, the same date the DNC assigned it as the second early state. Nevada's Class 3 U.S. Senate seat is also on the November 7, 2028 ballot. That combination means campaigns will be building Nevada teams through 2027.

What field programs in Nevada need to know

Voter registration drives in Nevada do not require training, but completed applications must be turned in within 10 days, and paying people per registration is illegal, according to the Fair Elections Center. For ballot measures, Nevada requires signatures from each of its four petition districts, equal to 10% of that district's vote in the last general election. Las Vegas is the state's largest media market.
