Kentucky elections in 2027 and 2028

Kentucky's 2027 primary is May 18 and the general election is November 2, 2027. The governor's seat is open, and the attorney general, auditor, secretary of state, treasurer and agriculture commissioner are also on the ballot. In 2028, Sen. Rand Paul's Class 3 seat is up.

What field programs in Kentucky need to know

Kentucky does not have citizen-initiated ballot measures, so field programs focus on candidates, registration and turnout. The May primary means statewide campaigns need staff, video and voter contact in place by early 2027. Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati and Nashville media markets all reach parts of the state.
