About Planned Parenthood of Tennessee and North Mississippi

  • The organization stopped providing abortions in 2022 under Tennessee's near-total ban and now offers abortion navigation, helping patients book out-of-state appointments and cover some travel, child care and lodging costs. Source
  • As of November 2025, Ashley Coffield was the organization's CEO. Source
  • In December 2023 it resumed Title X family-planning care at its Memphis, Nashville and Knoxville locations, serving 375 patients in the first five days. Source
  • Its rebuilt Knoxville health center, destroyed by fire in December 2021, held a ribbon cutting on November 13, 2024, with added cameras and a security fence. Source
